Agreements
Since the launch of the Institute of Peoples, Territories, and Pedagogies for Peace (IPTP), significant progress has been made in establishing bilateral and trilateral agreements between several stakeholders in Bolivia, Colombia, and Canada, with emerging relationships in Ghana, Senegal, and South Africa. This section of the report highlights the current status of these agreements, with a focus on the number of signed agreements, those in process, and future plans.
To date, the Institute has successfully entered into nine (9) bilateral and trilateral agreements with various organizations, associations, universities, and groups across Bolivia, Colombia, and Canada. These agreements demonstrate a strong commitment to collaboration and knowledge sharing, to achieve the below objectives.

The Institute plans to continue fostering collaborations and expanding its network of partners. With a focus on strengthening relationships and exploring new opportunities, the IPTP aims to:

Activities
The IPTP is involved as a counterpart in the development of strategies to support and enhance the political and territorial self-determination of Indigenous and Afrodiasporic peoples, strengthen the role of ethnic women and youth in the processes of peace-building, support cultural, political, economic and educational exchanges and movement building across Abya Yala/ Turtle Island, including through peoples’ diplomacy and land/water-defense efforts, and develop decolonial educational programming and strategies for the accompaniment of Indigenous and Afro-Colombian universities centred on ethnic pedagogies.
